SAN FRANCISCO, CA June 26, 2000 - Walden International, a leading global investment company, today announced the successful initial public offering of Centillium Communications (NASDAQ: CTLM), an innovative broadband solutions provider.

Centillium provides technologies that enable broadband communications to the home and business enterprise. On May 24, 2000, Centillium offered four million shares to the public at a price of $19 per share. On June 23, 2000, the stock closed at $64 3/8. As a principal stockholder, Walden International holds a 7.4% stake in the company.

Walden International also announced that its founder and chairman, Lip-Bu Tan, has accepted an invitation from Centillium's board chairman, Kamran Elahain, and CEO and director, Faraj Aalaei, to remain on Centillium's board of directors.
