Previously, he served as co-founder, chairman, president and CEO of Mergent Systems, Inc., in addition to top level managerial positions at C*ATS Software, Inc. and Informix Software, Inc.

Today's announcement resulted from a nationwide search led by Jane Carmena, partner of Connet & Company LLC, an executive search firm based in Menlo Park, CA.
